Service Dogs- Task trained to mitigate a persons disabilities, goes through intense training, is allowed to accompany their handler wherever the public is allowed

Therapy Dogs- Has to go through training, is allowed to go to hospitals/nursing homes to provide comfort and companionship to multiple people. IS NOT ALLOWED IN PUBLIC AREAS THAT AREN'T PET FRIENDLY
